Quality Policy

The quality policy of the postgraduate programme, entitled "Master of Science in Economics and Management Engineering through Research", is aligned with the corresponding quality principles of the Department. The objective is to implement quality standards effectively, with a particular focus on the organisation and operation of the Postgraduate Studies Programmes of the Institution. The objective is to pursue continuous improvement in the quality of the curriculum and of the educational, research and administrative work, in order to adapt to the modern academic and research conditions.


The Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and Management Engineering through Research is designed to foster academic and research excellence. The institution is dedicated to fostering a research-oriented environment that encourages originality and academic excellence in research. The quality policy places particular emphasis on the development of critical research skills, ethical behaviour and the production of high-impact knowledge. The provision of support and mentoring for research candidates is a fundamental aspect of this approach, with the objective of fostering a nurturing and collaborative environment that prepares them for successful contributions to the academic community and the professional world.

 

In particular, the strategic objectives of this postgraduate programme are as follows:

  • The continuous upgrading of the core academic activities of the MSc

  • The strengthening and promotion of research, innovation and excellence

  • Strengthening the extroversion and the interface of the MSc with society and the labour market 

  • To increase the visibility of the MSc

  • The upgrading/improvement of the infrastructure and human resources development of the MSc

The Postgraduate Programme is dedicated to the implementation of a quality policy, the establishment of quality objectives, and the monitoring and evaluation of their implementation. Furthermore, the programme defines the means, actions, and methods of achieving these objectives and implements the requisite internal and external quality procedures with the objective of continuous improvement.
